Cars for a Cause
We want to offer our sincere thanks to our major sponsors (O'Reilly Auto Parts and Steak n Shake), UJ Chevrolet, Regions
Bank, Goldstein's Jewelers and ALL of loyal car lovers for their generosity in 2011.   In these economic times, charitable
groups were some of the first to experience reduced support by government and regional contributors.   

However, the same economic times also increased demand for the services offered by The Child Advocacy Center and
Mulherin Home.    Without the generosity of people who want to give back something in their appreciation for what they
have, these donations in 2011 would not have been possible.

    If you care to help in other ways or in addition to financial contributions, both facilities are always in
    need of certain items.  A "wish list" for each is shown below.

    MULHERIN HOME WISH LIST

    •Adult disposable diapers
    •Toiletries (shampoo, lotion, deodorant, etc.)
    •Dove or Dial soap or generic equivalent
    •Linens (towels, sheets, wash clothes, etc.)
    •Hair dryers
    •Electric razors
    •Electric toothbrushes
    •Fruit juices
    •Ensure or generic equivalent
    •White socks
    •Paper towels
    •Bottled water
The club members purchase gifts and treats for each of the
residents of Mulherin Home at Christmas.   We get more hugs and
kisses during that visit that we have gotten all year. We leave
feeling much better than when we arrived!
